Anthony Salvatore Casso was born on May 21, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York. Casso was raised in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, and it was a haven for La Cosa Nostra. It is here where Casso fell in love with the mobster life. Casso’s father was not in the mafia, but he knew connected guys.
